Sleep
“Help me! I can’t move! I can’t
feel a thing.
My
body is going numb, my pupils are dilating,
My
skin is dry, I feel like my tongue is growing,
I can’t breathe!
What
is happening? What is wrong with me?
Help
me please someone help!”
He
laid on his bed, screaming inside his head,
While
the surrounding was stunned with silence,
“Am
I hallucinating? Or having a nightmare?
Or
am I possessed?"
"I think I should think about my happy thoughts and try to relax.”
Not
a single happy memory came to mind, everything was blank as if he had done
nothing in his life,
Still
struggling he tried to do something to wake himself up,
Soon
he realized he can’t do anything because he is surrounded by a whole lot of
nothing.
“Am
I claustrophobic?” he asked himself.
He
didn’t even know if he had that disorder or not.
But one thing he knew was that he felt like he was out of breath.
He
went out of options about what was going on.
His
body was going cold and spit bubbles had started coming out of his mouth,
Soon
he realized,
“No
this can’t be happening, not right now, I am still too young!”
He
had realized that his time had come.
He
needed to yield to end his sufferings.
He
had to close his eyes forever.
He
was going to leave everyone he loved,
Soon
he saw a light getting closer and closer,
“If
this is what God wants, so be it.”
He
yielded.
His
head slowly tilted to the right, and the body was as cold as ice.
Stunned
silence.
He
was dead. He was about to meet his creator, but before he was surrounded by
angels,
The
angels said, “What do you wish for, dear boy?”
He
replied with a smile, “I just want you to promise me that you will give my
family the strength to cope with the loss of their child, and make them happy
again.”
“Okay, you shall get your wish.”
His
soul then was sent to heaven without further adieu,
But
his body laid stone-cold dead waiting for it to be discovered.
He
was lucky he died in his sleep, not much physical pain,
But
the scar this will create to his loved ones will be a never-ending pain.
