Me

My face unseen,

My voice unheard,

My tears unwiped,

My dreams shattered,

My future unclear,

My life unlived,

Me, unloved.

Walking Alone

Walking alone,

No destination in mind,

No reason to look behind,

Walking alone,

Scared but not afraid,

Smiling but not happy, 

Walking alone, Hoping for the best,

Leaving the past behind,

Walking alone... Walking alone.

Hope

The lights around are so dim,

The future looks ever so grim,

So many options but still can't make the choice,

The mind is tempted to roll the dice,

But the heart has lost all its hope,

No longer can it cope,

Still smiling on the face of this adversity,

Hoping to find hope by pure serendipity.

Stop

I keep on waiting,

But you keep on forgetting,

I'm thinking about the memories we never created,

The memories we had are now faded,

I don't like the path we're headed, 

This got to stop, I'm completely jaded.

Blinded

Blinded by jealousy, blinded by ambition,

We forgot our culture, our tradition, 

Blinded by hate, blinded by lust, 

We forgot how to love, how to trust, 

Blinded by shame, blinded by embarrassment, 

We forgot how to look eye to eye with our family and friends, 

Blinded by anxiety, blinded by depression, 

We forgot to appreciate others creation,

Blinded by anger, blinded by guilt, 

We forgot how to react to these emotions and how they make us feel.

Nothing Matters

Shattered, battered, clattered, 

To an extent that nothing matters, 

Constantly put down, ever ignored, 

The path of life ain't an easy road, 

Harassed, bullied, abused, 

To others advantage, always been used, 

Still strong and the head held high, 

But not for long, because the fighting spirit is about to die.

Afraid

Afraid of the darkness, afraid of the light, 

When did he lose his strength, all his might? 

With every step he takes, a new devil comes in his sight,

He has nothing left to put up a fight, 

To others, nothing he does seems quite right, 

He looks defeated before losing the fight.
